From January to June 2010, Brazil imported a total of US $7.77 billion, accounting for 72.2% of Brazil’s total imports from China. China continues to maintain its advantages in the export of labor-intensive products. Light industrial products such as textiles and raw materials, furniture and toys rank second and eighth respectively in the category of goods (HS) imported by Brazil from China, accounting for 42.1% and 45.1% of Brazil’s import market.
